3-7 October
Week 8 was a termbreak, however I have decided to take that time to start off with my first workshop.
Upon doing my very first workshop, they were a lot of things to consider, or even take a look upon of people that has done workshop before not only regarding machine learning but also through designing or even making things. For my first workshop, I decided to go through 3 applications that uses machine learning tools such as pose recognition, music as well as generative art.
Pose estimation is a computer vision task that enables machines to detect human figures and understand their body pose in videos and images. It helps machines determine, for example, where the human knee is located in an image.
One approach to generating music is through deep learning. In this music machine learning project you will create an automatic music generation model using long short-term memory (LSTM) that will fetch notes from all music files and feed them into the model for prediction.

The end result of the workshop was really fun as well as an eye opener for me. It made me realise how well prepared you have to be upon having a workshop and also the troubleshoot you have to solve on the way if your participants have issues. This really gave me the courage to do a better workshop in the future with more people around.

Below are the screenshots I took of the feedbacks I got form all my participants regarding the workshop that they just did. This will help me improve on my next workshop or what to do and how to prepare my workshop at a better pace for people who have yet to hear about what machine learning really it.
