13 - 24 February
I decided to carry on with my very last workshop on week 7 of semester 2 so that I have enough information to gather as well as put in my dissertation.
Lia Coleman is an artist, AI researcher, and educator whose work revolves around the interplay of AI technology, art & design,
coding, and ethics. Currently, they conduct creative AI research at Carnegie Mellon University.

After much research, I manage to fine someone who did a workshop on AI as well as generative art which was Lia Coleman.
She did a very systematic as well as smooth workshop eventhough it was from zoom and I really admire how she did it.
Although some downside was that if you would like to continue you work on midjourney, you would have to pay a fee but
that wouldnt stop me from continuing my workshop with my friends.
Hence the images below are the final works of my friends and it would be better with videos but in this case, you can watch
the whole journey on my website.
The final workshop was really a success and I really felt that everyone had fun and the most important thing for me is that they learnt something from it. To be honest I would actually love to have more workshops in the future maybe when I get a job one day or something. However it has been a really fruitfull journey with my workshops and it helped alot in my progression of my journey to encourage designers to use machine learning in their work.
Some footnotes: Ai generated, Workshop 4, Fun.
Feedback on workshop 4.
⇀ Workshop was really fun an engaging and I really wouldnt have thought my video could move upon hearing bears or soundtracks.
⇀ Abit sad that I have to pay as I wanted to do more of this for my work but nevertheless it was a fun workshop to be in!.
⇀ Might still be confuse on how the machine learning world works but I found it cool anyways and kudos on the lst workshop.
⇀ Please do more exciting workshops in the future. Maybe with props as I love playing stuff.
⇀ I would love to learn more indepth of how this machine learning works as I know you can code it so its free. But its just hurting my brain.
⇀ Would love to input my own songs in and showcase it in a club!.
These are some external links that you can search into such as Lia Coleman's workshop and url on where to download
touchdesigner as well as RunwayML.
I also learn a thing or two on how to work things with touch designer as well as machine learning tool such as RunwayML.
However the most important thing I learnt from Lia's workshop was that she deeply explain what is "Latent Space" as well as
how machine learning works in the technological world which gave me a lot of insights.
